The Bănățean Village Museum in Timișoara is considered the only museum with an ethnographic profile in Romania. It includes all the traditional elements that make up the village as it was known in the past. From the civic center, town hall, church and school, to the birt.

To get to the Bănățean Village Museum you have to leave the city. From the center, more precisely from Piața Victoriei, you have to travel about 10-15 minutes by car. You can also get here by public transport.
The picturesque setting in which it is located and the presence of buildings will take you on a journey through time through the life of the people of Banat. It is also allowed to visit the inside of the houses, where you will be able to admire a series of traditional objects.
